Gavin Creel, a beloved Broadway musical theater veteran known for his roles in classics like “Hello, Dolly!” and “Hair,” passed away on Monday at the age of 48 from a rare form of cancer.

Gavin Creel’s talent and charm captivated audiences on both Broadway and the West End. From his Olivier Award-winning performance in “The Book of Mormon” to his portrayal of Dr. Pomatter in “Waitress,” Creel left an indelible mark on the theater world.
