Boerne baseball team vies for LLWS title on Monday night

Exciting News from Williamsport, Pennsylvania! – The Boerne all-star baseball team is making waves at the Little League Baseball World Series, and the action continues tonight! Don’t miss out on the thrilling matchup as Boerne takes on Lake Mary, Florida, who is already proving to be a formidable opponent with two wins under their belt. Tune in at 6 p.m. CST on ESPN to catch all the action live.

Last week, Boerne showed their dominance in the opening round of the LLWS by defeating Newtown, Pennsylvania, with an impressive 9-0 victory. The team’s strong performance included 12 hits at-bat and stellar pitching from Caden Guffey, who allowed only two hits and struck out three players in just two innings. The game was sealed in the fifth inning with a grand slam from Kole Newson, securing Boerne’s victory.

If Boerne emerges victorious tonight, they will advance to face the winner of the Mountain-West series. And even if they face a setback, the team will have another chance to compete in the LLWS, as the tournament requires two losses for elimination.
