Bills’ LB Matt Milano out indefinitely with torn left bicep

In a recent announcement, Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott shared that linebacker Matt Milano will be out indefinitely due to a torn left bicep, causing him to miss the first few months of the upcoming season. This unfortunate setback follows Milano’s struggle with a broken leg that sidelined him for a majority of last season. The Bills were hoping for Milano’s strong return, but this new injury has put those plans on hold.

Following the injury, Milano is set to undergo surgery with a potential return timeline of December, if there are no complications. McDermott expressed his disappointment in the situation but praised Milano’s strength and resilience, emphasizing the need for the team to adapt and find solutions moving forward.

Milano’s absence will be deeply felt in Buffalo’s defense, as the seasoned linebacker has been a vital component since his draft in 2017. Known for his speed and hard-hitting style, Milano’s absence will require backups like Dorian Williams and Edefuan Ulofoshio to step up and fill the gap.

The Bills are now faced with a challenge in their defense, given the lack of experienced players following offseason changes. With key backups also dealing with injuries, Buffalo will need to rely on its depth and adaptability to navigate through this challenging period.
