Breaking News: Wilson County Resident Arrested for Making Terroristic Threats
Shocking news out of Wilson County, Texas as a resident was arrested on Sept. 9 for making terroristic threats. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office discovered an alarming cache of 100 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition in the resident’s home, according to a Facebook post by WCSO.
The arrest came after WCSO received a call for a welfare check on a La Vernia resident on Sept. 8. The caller reported that the resident had threatened to commit an act of mass violence on Sept. 12. The case was then passed on to authorities in Wilson County.
The suspect, Jonni Carville, exhibited hostile behavior towards law enforcement officers and was known to express his disdain for them on social media. After a series of confrontations with local authorities, Carville was taken into custody.
During a search of Carville’s residence, law enforcement uncovered a staggering arsenal of weapons and ammunition. Carville is currently held in the Wilson County Jail on a $150,000 bond and faces federal charges for firearms violations.
Wilson County Sheriff Jim Stewart emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “Our office will always take these calls seriously and pursue any and all avenues to prevent and stop any threat of violence to any individual, group or school in our community.”
