Woman Arrested in Connection to AMBER Alert Case in Kerr County
Kerr County Sheriff’s deputies with the Special Operations Division made a significant arrest this week in a case related to an AMBER Alert issued last week.
Talaya Shea Graham, 32, of Ingram, was taken into custody on Tuesday on a felony warrant for interfering in child custody, according to KCSO.
The investigation revealed that Graham was planning to leave the state with a 6-year-old boy, which violated a court order.
The boy’s whereabouts were initially unknown, prompting DPS to issue an AMBER Alert.
Although the boy was eventually found, Graham remained at large. Subsequently, an arrest warrant was issued for her on charges of interfering in child custody.
Authorities have not disclosed the current status of Joseph Graham, the man involved in the original AMBER Alert with Talaya Graham.
“Our Special Operations Division worked tirelessly on this case to ensure the safety of the child,” said Sheriff Larry Leitha. “Thanks to their efforts, this case has been resolved without further harm to anyone involved or the public.”
Talaya Graham is now in custody at the Kerr County Jail, with a bond set at $30,000.
