Murder-Suicide on the North Side of San Antonio Shocks Community
SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE:
In a tragic turn of events, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified Kenya Joy Bland, 28, as the victim of an apparent murder-suicide at a North Side apartment complex. Kenya died from a gunshot wound to the head, with the ME ruling her death as a homicide.
Furthermore, the ME identified Tevin Hall, 30, as the man who died from a gunshot wound to the head, in what was determined to be a suicide.

Authorities are investigating a murder-suicide after discovering two deceased individuals inside a North Side apartment complex.
Police conducted a welfare check following reports of a male suspect in the area, but he was not found. The suspect was later located at an apartment complex on East Sonterra Boulevard.
After unsuccessful attempts to establish communication with the suspect, police entered the apartment and found both him and a woman dead. It is believed that the man killed the woman before taking his own life.
The identities of the deceased have been revealed as a man in his 30s and a woman in her late 20s, with their relationship still under investigation.
As the community mourns this tragic loss, authorities continue to work on determining the cause of their deaths.
