CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers have made a bold decision to bench their 2023 No. 1 overall pick, Bryce Young, after a rocky start to the season.
The news comes from a reliable source with inside knowledge, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity on Monday as head coach Dave Canales had yet to address the situation.
In Young’s place, veteran Andy Dalton will step in as the starting quarterback.
