SAN ANTONIO – A destructive early morning fire ravaged a North Side neighborhood, leaving one home completely destroyed and another with an estimated $20,000 in damages, as reported by the San Antonio Fire Department.
The blaze broke out at around 2:15 a.m. on Monday in the 1400 block of Viewridge Drive near Jackson Keller, sending flames soaring into the night sky.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the first home engulfed in flames, with no occupants inside. A vehicle parked in the driveway and signs in the yard indicated recent activity.
Tragically, the first residence was deemed a total loss, while the neighboring house suffered extensive damage from the intense heat and flames, estimated at $20,000, according to SAFD officials.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries resulting from the fire, offering a small ray of hope amid the devastation.
