Hotel Emma in San Antonio Earns Two Keys Distinction in Michelin Guide
This week, the Michelin Guide unveiled its list of exceptional hotels in the United States, with a San Antonio hotel taking one of the guide’s rarest honors.
Hotel Emma has become the first hotel in San Antonio to receive the coveted Two Keys distinction from the Michelin Guide.
The Michelin Guide categorizes its top hotels on a rating scale of one to three keys, with One Key denoting a “very special stay,” Two Keys representing “an exceptional stay,” and Three Keys signifying an “extraordinary stay.”
Jon Sakshaug, CEO of Hotel Emma, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are incredibly honored to receive the Two Key designation from the Michelin Guide. This accolade is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, and encourages and inspires us to continue delivering the highest standards of hospitality.”
Alongside Hotel Emma, two other Texas hotels – the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin and Bowie House in Fort Worth – also earned the Two Keys honor, making them part of the exclusive group of 70 Two Keys hotels in the United States. However, none of the 16 Three Keys hotels listed in the guide are located in Texas.
