Welcome back, Aaron Rodgers: Jets QB returns to the field after injury
Aaron Rodgers is set to make his long-awaited return to the field for the New York Jets, a year after his debut was cut short by injury.
After tearing his Achilles tendon in Week 1 of last season, Rodgers is ready to start the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The 40-year-old quarterback spent 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, winning multiple MVP awards and a Super Bowl before being traded to the Jets in 2023.
Unfortunately, Rodgers’ first season with the Jets ended abruptly when he was injured during his debut game. Now, after a long road to recovery, he is eager to make his comeback against the 49ers.
Facing the team that famously passed on him in the 2005 NFL Draft, Rodgers is determined to show what he’s capable of in his new uniform. With a history of success and a legacy to uphold, all eyes will be on Rodgers as he takes the field once again.
Stay tuned for more updates on Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets as they kick off the new season.
