SAN ANTONIO – Tragedy struck along Southwest Loop 410 as a woman lost her life in a horrific crash that shook the community. The incident, which unfolded around 6:45 p.m. on a fateful Friday evening, left many in shock and mourning.
Reports from San Antonio police indicate that the victim, a 40-year-old woman, had run out of gas and was forced to pull over on the right shoulder of the 4900 block of Southwest Loop 410 southbound near New Valley Hi Drive. Little did she know that this decision would have fatal consequences.
As the woman exited her vehicle, tragedy struck in the form of a Toyota Tundra driven by the suspect, Juan Rabago. The consequences of his actions were swift as authorities promptly arrested Rabago and booked him into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
As the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office works to confirm the victim’s identity and determine the exact cause of death, the community is left to grapple with the harsh realities of this senseless tragedy. May justice be served and may the victim’s loved ones find solace in the midst of this heartbreaking loss.
