SAN ANTONIO – A late-night altercation at a North Side apartment complex left one man in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times. The incident took place at the Solara apartments in the 11700 block of Parliament, close to Blanco Road.
According to San Antonio police, the 40-year-old victim was squatting in an unoccupied apartment when he was attacked by a man and a woman who broke in. The assailants stabbed the man numerous times in his back and neck before fleeing the scene.
Despite his injuries, the victim managed to seek help from another apartment within the complex and was subsequently rushed to the hospital for treatment.
As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection with the incident. However, law enforcement is actively searching homeless camps in the area in hopes of apprehending the suspects involved.
Responding to the emergency call, the San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all arrived on the scene to assist the victim and secure the area.
The investigation into the stabbing is currently ongoing, with authorities working diligently to gather more information and bring those responsible to justice.
