After receiving feedback from veterans, a congressional relations source confirmed to KSAT 12 News that Veterans Affairs will continue holding Veterans Day funeral ceremonies at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.

The source emphasized that one of VA’s top priorities is to “honor and remember our nation’s veterans,” and these events at Fort Sam Houston play a crucial role in their efforts to honor veterans.

The decision to continue the ceremonies at Fort Sam Houston came after a report by the Express-News indicated that only San Antonio National Ceremony would host Veterans Day funeral ceremonies, excluding Fort Sam Houston.
