SAN ANTONIO – Shocking news has rocked the community as a San Antonio man, Thomas Jeffrey McKissick V, has been sentenced to 17 1/2 years in federal prison for the distribution of child pornography.
Authorities discovered that McKissick had sent 18 images and four video files containing child pornography to an undercover police officer in Queensland, Australia, on two separate occasions in February 2022. A month later, federal agents executed a search warrant at McKissick’s residence, where they found a cellphone containing over 10,000 images and nearly 800 videos of child sexual abuse material.
Following his arrest, McKissick pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography in March 2024. In addition to his prison sentence, he was also ordered to serve a lifetime of supervised release and pay $15,000 in restitution.
