SAN ANTONIO – A shocking incident unfolded on the North Side of San Antonio on Tuesday afternoon as three women traveling in a car were shot at several times, according to San Antonio police.
The victims, including a pregnant woman shot in the pinky and another woman shot in the leg, were rushed to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third woman in the car escaped unscathed, SAPD confirmed.
The shooting originated in the 1200 block of Patricia Drive, prompting the women to attempt to reach a hospital. Sadly, they had to stop their silver Nissan sedan, riddled with bullet holes, three miles away at 9300 Wurzbach, where police eventually located them.
SAPD revealed that three men are suspected in the shooting but remain at large. Limited information on the suspects is available at this time.
