SAN ANTONIO – When faced with a life-threatening situation, one man in San Antonio took matters into his own hands to defend himself against two armed suspects in the early hours of the morning.
Authorities were alerted to the incident just before 3:50 a.m. on a Sunday in the 200 block of Ranch Valley Drive. Reports indicated that one man had been shot at the scene, while another was found with a gunshot wound to the waist at a nearby hospital.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that both men involved were armed and had attempted to rob a 34-year-old man. However, the tables turned when the victim pulled out a weapon in self-defense and fired back at the suspects.
Details regarding the current conditions of the suspects and whether they are in custody remain unclear at this time. San Antonio Police Department is treating the case as an aggravated robbery and continues to investigate the incident.
