DUBAI – American rapper Macklemore recently made headlines by announcing the cancellation of his upcoming October concert in Dubai. The reason? The United Arab Emirates’ reported involvement in the ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis in Sudan through its alleged support of the paramilitary forces engaged in combat there.
