SAN ANTONIO – Tragedy struck a Northwest Side apartment complex in San Antonio as a woman involved in a heated argument with a man suffered a fatal head injury and later succumbed to her wounds at a nearby hospital.
Police were summoned to the scene around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 17800 block of La Cantera Terrace. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman with severe head trauma and rushed her to receive urgent medical care. Despite their efforts, the woman tragically passed away at the hospital.
Witnesses recounted a distressing scene to authorities, revealing that the victim and a man were engaged in a heated dispute. As the man attempted to drive away, the victim clung onto the truck. Tragically, the woman lost her grip and fell, suffering a fatal head injury upon impact with the ground. The driver fled the scene, leaving the woman in critical condition.
If apprehended, the driver faces charges for failing to stop and provide aid to the victim. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the consequences of reckless actions and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.
