Get ready, San Antonio! The Davenport football team is gearing up for an exciting 2024 season.

With 31 returning players from last year’s impressive 11-4 team that made it to the playoffs, the Wolves are ready to make a deep postseason run once again.

This season, the Wolves will be competing in District 14-4A Division 1 after a successful campaign in District 13-4A D1 last year.

Under the leadership of head coach JD Zimmerhanzel, the players and coaches are fully committed to the team’s success. With a record of 21-8 in the past two seasons, the Wolves are poised for another strong showing.

Keep an eye on running back Barrett Fallon, who put up impressive numbers last season with 1,883 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns, along with 418 receiving yards and nine more scores. Defensive back Aryck Singletary also made his mark with 116 total tackles and two interceptions.
