Unlocking the Success of Boerne’s Sports Talent

BOERNE, Texas – Every athlete will tell you it takes hard work and dedication to be successful.

Boerne has produced a plethora of sports talent in recent years, with its latest Little League team aiming for a World Series title.

So, what’s the secret behind the winning ways in Boerne?

KSAT’s Patty Santos set out to explore what sets this Hill Country community apart.

Boerne Champion Head Baseball Coach and former player Ben Woodchick, a local himself, believes there’s something truly special about the baseball talent in the area.

Woodchick emphasized the commitment, passion, and unwavering support from parents that drive these exceptional athletes to success.

Boerne native Bradley Suttle, who was drafted by the New York Yankees organization after his college career at the University of Texas, echoed the sentiment, crediting great parenting, community support, and top-notch coaching for fostering talent in Boerne.
