Milwaukee Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold recently provided an update on Christian Yelich’s recovery journey. The back surgery that Yelich underwent is expected to have him ready for the start of the 2025 season.

Arnold expressed optimism about Yelich’s return, stating, “By doing this sooner, it does allow him to hopefully be ready for opening day next year.”

Despite the challenges ahead, Arnold believes that Yelich could be available for the beginning of spring training. He emphasized, “We’re optimistic about him being ready for opening day.”
