Uncovering a Mystery: Partial Human Remains Found in Bexar County Field
A startling discovery was made by landscapers cutting grass in a south Bexar County field. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported that partial human remains were found near a distribution center in the 11000 block of FM 1937.
According to Sheriff Javier Salazar, a landscaping crew stumbled upon the remains while working in the area. The victim, believed to be a man between 50 and 60 years old, was identified as someone experiencing homelessness.
The victim had a hospital bracelet on his wrist and hospital socks on, indicating a recent hospital visit. The BCSO’s homicide unit and the medical examiner were called to the scene to investigate further.
Sheriff Salazar mentioned that the man’s death might be heat-related, but the official cause would be determined by the medical examiner’s office. Evidence suggested that the man had been living in the brush, as investigators found bedding near his remains.
Despite the grim discovery, BCSO does not suspect foul play in this case. The investigation is ongoing to provide clarity on the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
