Kate McKinnon, Malcolm Gladwell, and Eva Mendes Headline Fall Speaking Events at 92nd Street Y
Actress Eva Mendes made an appearance at the “Holy Motors” special screening as part of AFI Fest in Los Angeles on Nov. 3, 2012, while Kate McKinnon graced the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 5, 2020, in Beverly Hills, Calif.
This fall, the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan will host a lineup of renowned speakers including Kate McKinnon, Malcolm Gladwell, and Eva Mendes. McKinnon will be discussing her children’s story, “The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science,” while Gladwell will delve into his latest book, ”Revenge of the Tipping Point.” Mendes will share insights from her picture book, “Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries,” a heartwarming take on family life.
Joining the roster of guests at the Y will be Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, actor Josh Brolin with his memoir “From Under the Truck,” and designer Bob Mackie, who will be featured in a documentary called ”Naked Illusion.”
