SAN ANTONIO – The streets of San Antonio were rocked by violence on a Friday evening when an altercation escalated into a shooting, leaving a man critically injured and hospitalized.
San Antonio police rushed to the 100 block of Goodwin Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. to find a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his torso/neck area, according to authorities on the scene.
It is believed that the altercation between the victim and an unidentified individual resulted in multiple gunshots being fired, ultimately leading to the man’s critical condition. The shooter remains at large as police continue their investigation.
The man was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care, but no weapons have been recovered at the scene, complicating the ongoing investigation.
