SAN ANTONIO – A coordinated effort between multiple law enforcement agencies took place during a Drug Enforcement Administration court-authorized search warrant on the North Side early Monday morning. The presence of state troopers and DEA agents was significant as they executed the federal search warrant at an apartment complex near the intersection of Anchor and Belair drives, close to Northwest Military Highway and Lockhill-Selma Road.
The DEA stated, “We won’t be able to comment on any specifics because the case remains open and ongoing.”
Residents in the area became aware of the activity when tactical units were seen entering and exiting the complex. At least two vehicles were towed from the property as part of the investigation, raising suspicions within the community.
One long-time resident reported hearing gunshots at night in recent weeks, adding to the tense atmosphere as officers, including DEA agents and state troopers, conducted their operations at the site.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the search or any potential suspects, keeping the community in suspense.
