CONVERSE, Texas – A van belonging to the Converse Animal Shelter Inc. was stolen from its parking lot on Tuesday night, but has since been located.
A veterinary technician at the shelter informed KSAT that the van was found on Thursday in Ozona, Texas, in Crockett County, approximately 200 miles northwest of San Antonio.
The van was last seen at the shelter’s location, 9634 Schaefer Road, in Converse, on Tuesday evening.
Shelter officials are eager to inspect the van once it is retrieved to assess any damages.
