2 San Antonio Theater Foundations Uniting for Special Shows

Welcome to the Partnership of San Antonio Broadway Theatre and Majestic Empire Foundation!

SAN ANTONIO – Two local performing arts companies are joining forces to bring exceptional theatrical experiences to the audience of San Antonio.

Starting next year, the San Antonio Broadway Theatre and the Majestic Empire Foundation will collaborate to produce two productions a season featuring both local talent and guest performers from Broadway. These performances will take place at the historic Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.

Lauren Cosio Kotkowski, Founder and Executive Director of San Antonio Broadway Theatre, expressed, “This partnership marks a significant advancement in our commitment to providing top-tier theatrical performances to our community and creating invaluable opportunities for young performers.”

The inaugural production of this collaboration will be the musical adaptation of “School of Rock,” inspired by the movie featuring Jack Black. The show will run from January 17 to 19, 2025.
