The fatal crash occurred along Loop 1604 near North Graytown Road, as confirmed by Converse police on Wednesday.
China Grove police, another responding agency, revealed that officers had been tracking three motorcyclists suspected of being linked to a notorious area known for stolen vehicle activity.
One of the motorcyclists briefly separated from the group before rejoining them on FM 1346, heading eastbound, according to China Grove police.
Despite officers’ attempts to gather information on the motorcycles, the riders seemed to be aware of being followed and were communicating with each other.

Subsequently, China Grove police pursued the speeding motorcyclist onto Loop 1604, leading to a fatal collision near the Interstate 10-Loop 1604 interchange.
The fleeing motorcyclist ran a red light at Graytown Road and collided with another vehicle, resulting in the devastating loss of two lives.
In addition to the fatalities, it remains unknown if there were other injuries resulting from the crash.
The motorcycle involved in the collision was reported missing on July 9 to the San Antonio Police Department and was traced back to Laredo. The driver was also wanted on a drug trafficking warrant in Bexar County.
